Esher Lawn Tennis Club - Surrey

On Tuesday 3rd April 2018 ETC Sports Surfaces started the Tennis Court Construstion, with an Artificial Grass (Clay) Surface. Alongside Fencing, Sports Equipment & Associated Works.

The courts were originally built by ETC Sports Surfaces with just as asphalt surface, but Esher Lawn Tennis Club changed their mind about this, and instead decided to switch the pitch for an artificial grass (clay) surface. The original install of the asphalt surface took place last year. The new surface layout here was completed 10th April 2018.

A press release from an Esher Lawn Tennis Club committee member said, “The work on the courts was undertaken by ETC Sports Limited who despite horrendous weather conditions managed to deliver exceptional hard courts in 2017 and return in 2018 to install Playrite Specialist Surface’s “Clayrite MF Artificial Clay” on them. Luminance Pro Lighting Systems Ltd supplied and installed the floodlights working closely with ETC Sports. The light quality they delivered being significantly superior to older halogen systems.”
