Boscawen Park

ETC Sports Surfaces Limited have just announced the completion of a new project. The project Location was in Cornwall, and it was for the Boscawen Park Tennis Courts. The project works consisted of the resurfacing of existing Tennis Courts at the facility to “new” Porous Asphalt Surfaced courts, the works consisted of Fencing, Tennis Equipment and Associated Works also.

ETC Sports Surfaces started the project on the 22nd of March 2018 and received practical completion confirmation on the 10th of July 2018.

Here is a quote from the client after the project completion, “ETC relaid and refurbished our eight courts at Boscawen Park. The work was carried out to time, on budget and to a very high standard. The employees on site conducted themselves extremely well, clearly working efficiently and effectively, and gave a very good impression to the many users of the park. The administration of the project was simple and conducted in a business like way.”

The Tennis Court surface that was used was manufactured and supplied by Aggregate Industries (@AggregateUK) and was the 6mm SuperSport Tennis Open Surface Course Porous Asphalt brand name. The Fencing system was manufactured and supplied by J B Corrie & Co. (@JBCorrie) and the fencing used was the Corrie Green Welded Mesh Fencing. The Corrie Green welded mesh fencing system is a cost effective easy to fit boundary fence, comprising of posts, line wires and roll form welded mesh. The welded mesh is supported on angle iron / square / rectangular / tubular hollow section posts. The intermediate (line) posts are normally set at 3 m centres with straining posts set at max 69 m centres depending on the site conditions. The welded mesh is secured to the line wires with clips / tie wire. The rolls of green welded mesh can be easily over lapped and clipped to join the mesh together.
