ETC Sports Surfaces partners with the TIA UK to deliver all types of tennis courts

As Britain gears up for the excitement of Wimbledon 2019, it seems a fitting time to announce that ETC Sports Surfaces have been confirmed as partner members with the Tennis Industry Association (TIA UK). We’re thrilled to be working with the tennis’s official trade body to benefit the many customers who choose us for the design, installation and maintenance of their courts.

We know that our customers rely on us for high quality, affordable and dependable services in all areas of sports pitch construction. That’s why, as well as operating to strict internal codes of conduct, we constantly strive to maintain the highest service standards through membership of all the important trade bodies – including SAPCA and the Considerate Constructors Scheme.

As specialists in all types of tennis courts, including clay and grass tennis courts, we’re now adding the TIA UK to that distinguished list of trade bodies, and we’re excited about passing on the benefits of our partner membership to our customers.

What is the Tennis Industry Association?

The TIA UK was formed in 1998 as the official not-for profit trade body for the UK tennis industry. It’s an industry that accounts for an estimated annual turnover of more than £1.5 billion, reflecting the huge popularity of tennis in the UK. The TIA UK works with its members to grow that industry even further, by promoting knowledge and innovation, driving industry intelligence and increasing participation in British tennis.

Their role is therefore crucial in helping tennis to thrive in the UK, and that includes supporting specialists like ourselves who are leading the way in the tennis construction industry.

Why is membership of the TIA UK important for tennis court construction?
